Caramel Sauce

1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar packed
1 tablespoon flour
1/2 cup whipped cream
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Just before using:

In a small saucepan, mix sugar, brown sugar and flour. Stir in cream until smooth. Stirring over medium heat, bring to a boil and boil for 3 minutes or until thick and glossy. Remove from heat.

Stir in butter or margarine and vanilla until well blended. Use warm on Apple Strudel or Baked Apple Crepes
