Brandy Sauce


Serves: 3

Ingredients

2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup butter softened
1 egg yolk
1 cup brandy

Directions:

In a 2-quart saucepan over medium heat, stir powdered sugar and butter until blended. Add egg yolk. Stirring constantly, bring to just under a boil. Gradually stir in brandy. Cool to room temperature. (Sauce will thicken as it cools.) Serve over warm Cajun Bread Pudding. Refrigerate any leftovers.
