Bacon Dressing

Ingredients

1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
2 teaspoons brown sugar
2 teaspoons Dijon style mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 drops hot pepper sauce
4 slices bacon crisp-fried and crumbled
2 tablespoons green onions sliced
Bibb or Boston lettuce, torn in pieces

Directions:

At least 2 hours or up to 1 day before serving:

In a small bowl, whisk together oil, vinegar, brown sugar, mustard, salt and hot pepper sauce until well blended.

Stir in bacon and green onion. Cover and chill at least 2 hours.

Just before serving, mix dressing thoroughly. Serve over lettuce.
