Wintu Fry Bread

Ingredients

self-rising flour
warm water (95°-110°F)
pinch salt
baking powder

Directions:

Mix all dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add enough warm water to make a dough like biscuit dough. Heat oil in a 12” Dutch oven to 375°F. Let dough rest for 10 minutes. On a floured board, roll out a small amount of dough to ¼” thick and punch a hole in the middle with your finger. Fry dough in hot oil for 2 minutes each side. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve with taco type fillings
