Family-Favorite Stew

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef
2 cups water
2 (14 1/2-ounce) cans each, diced tomatoes in olive oil, garlic and spices, undrained
1 (6-ounce) can tomato paste
1 (16-ounce) can frozen carrot, green beans and cauliflower (or other combination)
2 1/4 cups Original Bisquick®
2/3 cup milk
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Directions:

1. Heat oven to 425°. Cook beef in ovenproof 4-quart Dutch oven over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until brown drain. Stir in water, tomatoes, tomato paste and vegetables. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.

2. Mix Bisquick, milk and parsley until soft dough forms. Drop dough by 6 spoonfuls onto beef mixture remove from heat.

3. Bake uncovered 20 to 25 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown and stew is bubbly. HIGH ALTITUDE (3500 to 6500 feet): Heat oven to 450°.
