Bye Bye Blemish Facial

Ingredients

1 tablespoon dry milk powder
1 teaspoon purified water
2 cups Rose Petals
2 1/2 cups purified water
1 lime
2 tablespoons almonds
1/4 cup plain yogurt
1/2 tomato
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon oats

Directions:

For the Anti-Acne Facial, you will need all the ingredients above to create the cleanser, toner, scrub and mask. It is easiest to make all of your treatments first before starting. For this treatment youÕll need to have the Rose Water Toner prepared a few hours before you wish to perform your facial to give it time to cool.

Step One: Milky Oily Skin Cleanser - Mix together dry powdered milk and purified water in a small bowl. Gently massage onto your skin in circular motions for 1-2 minutes. Rinse face with cool water to remove.

Step Two: Lime Rose Water Toner - Remove the rose petals from about 2-3 roses and rinse in cool water. Place the rose petals in a stockpot and pour purified water over. Stir a bit, as the petals may want to float on top of the water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling remove from heat and cover. Let the pot cool covered for at least 1 hour. Strain rose water into a clean jar or spray bottle. Now you have Rose Water Toner youÕll need to add the lime juice. In a bowl, squeeze the lime and then add an equal amount of rose water toner. Soak into a cotton ball and apply to the skin. Be careful to avoid the eye area. For longer lasting rose water toner, refrigerate.

Step Three: Yogurt Almond Scrub - In a food processor or blender, grind almonds into a fine meal. Mix together the ground almond meal and plain yogurt in a small bowl. Gently apply to the skin in circular motions. Leave on the skin 5-10 minutes then rinse with warm water.

Step Four: Steam open your pores with a pot of boiling water. Splash your skin with a little hot water from the faucet.

Step Five: Oatmeal Tomato Mask - In a food processor or blender, puree the tomato, add lemon juice and mix then add the dry oats in a small bowl. Apply to skin avoiding the eye area. Leave on for 5-10 minutes then rinse with cool water. Finish your facial by applying your favorite moisturizer.
