1. Toast almonds by spreading them on cookie sheet in a 350°F oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove and set aside.
2. Wash and trim ends from green beans. Place in steamer basket and steam 20 minutes or just until tender, but still bright green. Shock with cold water to stop cooking. Drain and set aside.
3. Lightly sauté garlic and peppers in olive oil. Add salt and green beans and toss to mix.
4. Place each serving in a side dish and sprinkle with toasted almonds.
