Cook fettuccini in boiling salted water; drain. Just before pasta is done, cook Alfredo sauce, tequila, and lime zest in a saucepan just to boiling. Remove from heat. Add chicken strips, and heat through. In a large serving bowl, toss hot fettuccini with tequila sauce.
