Tangy Tequila Chicken Fettucine

Serves: 6

1 (8-ounce) package fettuccini pasta
1 (15-ounce) jar alfredo sauce
1/4 cup tequila
1 teaspoon lime rind
2 (6-ounce) packages grilled chicken breasts strips


Cook fettuccini in boiling salted water; drain. Just before pasta is done, cook Alfredo sauce, tequila, and lime zest in a saucepan just to boiling. Remove from heat. Add chicken strips, and heat through. In a large serving bowl, toss hot fettuccini with tequila sauce.

Editor’s Extra: To add color, sprinkle with diced red bell pepper.
