1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 1/2 teaspoons Creole seasoning
1 (16-ounce) can pinto bean
1 (14 1/2-ounce) can petit diced tomato
1 (8-ounce) package macaroni or bow tie pasta, or mixture


Brown ground beef with seasoning in large skillet; drain. Add undrained beans, undrained tomatoes, and pasta. Cover and cook on medium-high heat until bubbling. Reduce heat, and simmer 20–25 minutes. Check liquid, adding water if needed. Top with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
