Tomato, Mozzarella, and Basil Salad

Vary the color of your tomatoes to get the most-appealing presentation.

6 tomatoes small tomatoes (4 medium)
1 pound fresh mozzarella
10 leaves basil to 15 basil
3 tablespoons olive oil good olive oil
salt Kosher salt
black pepper Freshly ground black pepper

Slice the tomatoes and mozzarella and arrange casually with the basil leaves on a large platter. Drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and serve at room temperature.
