Stovetop Rice


Serves: 5

Ingredients

Directions:

1. Bring the water to boil in a pot.
2. Add the rice.
3. Stir once, reduce the heat to low, and simmer covered for the required time. Don’t stir the rice as it cooks or you’ll wind up with a sticky mass.
4. If the rice is not fully cooked, it will be wet and won’t fluff up. Cover and cook a few more minutes.
5. Let the cooked rice sit 5 minutes, then fluff with a spoon or fork and serve.
