Lay 1/2 of crescent rolls flat in 8x8-inch pan. Mix vanilla, 1/2 cup sugar, and egg yolk into cream cheese. Spoon this mixture over dough. Lay remaining 1/2 of crescent rolls on top. Mix topping and sprinkle over top. Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes.
