Open-Faced Stroganoff Sub

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 loaf French bread
1 cup grated Monterey Jack-Colby cheese

Directions:

In a frying pan, brown ground beef and onion until meat is no longer pink. Drain if necessary. Stir in sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic. Warm over low heat.

Cut bread in half lengthwise. Broil bread cut side up 2 minutes until toasted. Spread hot meat over the top of bread halves. Sprinkle cheese over meat. Broil an additional 2 minutes, or until cheese melts.
