Barbecued Beef

Ingredients

2 pounds ground beef
1 envelope onion soup mix
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 1/2 cups ketchup
2 tablespoons brown sugar
10 to 12 hamburger buns

Directions:

In a frying pan, brown ground beef until no longer pink. Drain if necessary. Stir in all remaining ingredients. Simmer over low heat for 20–30 minutes. Serve hot on hamburger buns.
