Yield: 48 rolls

Ingredients

2 (8-ounce) cans refrigerated crescent rolls
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons milk

Directions:

Separate crescents into 8 rectangles; press perforations to seal. Mix cream cheese, sugar, and lemon juice. Spread mixture evenly over each rectangle. Roll up jellyroll fashion, starting at long end. Cut each roll into 5 (1-inch) slices, using a serrated knife. Place on a lightly greased cookie sheet and bake at 375° for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, combine powdered sugar, vanilla and milk. Drizzle over rolls. Serve warm.

Fun Fact: Mmmm . . . warm rolls . . . what’s better? But we do prefer them warm. To keep rolls warmer longer, put a sheet of tin foil under the napkin in your bread basket.
