Open-Face Salmon on Rye

Ingredients

1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed (or 1 tablespoon fresh)
4 slices rye or wheat bread
16 slices cucumber
1/2 pound thinly sliced smoked salmon

Directions:

Combine cream cheese, lemon peel, and dill; mix well. Spread on bread slices. Layer open-face with cucumber slices and salmon. Garnish with fresh dill, if desired.
