Easy Awesome Almond Brittle

Ingredients

1 1/2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup blanched whole almonds
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 teaspoon salt

Directions:

Cook butter, sugar, and almonds in heavy skillet on medium-high heat till golden brown, about 10 minutes. Stir in vanilla and pour onto sheet of heavy-duty foil, spreading thinly. Sprinkle with salt. Break when cool. Store air-tight.
