Beef And Asparagus

Ingredients

1/4 pound beef, sliced
1 pound asparagus spears
1/2 cup soy sauce for marinating beef
1 tablespoon soy sauce
salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons oils for stir-fying
1 clove garlic, minced

Directions:

Marinate beef in soy sauce for 20-30 minutes. Slice asparagus diagonally into 1 1/2 inch pieces.

Stir-fry beef in oil until cooked. Set aside. Stir-fry garlic in oil until slightly brown. Add asparagus and continue stir-frying until done. Asparagus should be crisp, not overcooked. Add the cooked beef and stir in the soy sauce, salt, and pepper until everything is well mixed. Remove and serve. Broccoli may be used if asparagus is not available.
