Using Commercial Broths And Bouillons

Directions:

If you are not inclined to keep homemade chicken and beef stock or broth on hand, commercially prepared products can be substituted with good results. My recipes call for either broth or bouillon, giving you the choice. Some canned broths can be used directly from the can, while others are condensed and must be diluted. Instantbouillon granules and cubes are reconstituted with boiling water to make the desired amount of liquid called for. All of these products differ in flavor and saltiness, so take care to adjust the seasoning.
