Making A Tomato Flower

Serves: 0

Ingredients

Directions:

For a pretty and colorful rosette, start with a medium, firm tomato. With a sharp paring knife, cut a circle at the base but do not cut all the way through. Continue peeling off a thin circular strip round and round the tomato. Use a sawing motion and don't worry if the strip is not perfectly even it will look more natural if it is irregular. Curl the strip so it sits nicely on its base.
