Broiled Mushroom Appetizers with Bacon-Chive Filling

Serves: 15

   1/2 pound mushrooms
   1/2 pound bacon
   2 tablespoons cream cheese
   2 tablespoons green onions, minced


Wash mushrooms and remove stems; use stems for another purpose. Saute bacon till brown; drain and crumble. Mix with softened cream cheese and green onion. Fill mushroom caps; place on baking sheet and broil till lightly browned. Makes about 15 appetizers.
