Sweet and Sour Sausage

Ingredients

1 cup sugar
4 tablespoons cornstarch
4 tablespoons soy sauce
2/3 cup vinegar
1 1/3 cups water
2 bell peppers, cut in pieces
1 (20-ounce) can pineapple chunk, drained
2 1/2 pounds stuffed sausages, cut into bite-size pieces, cooked, and drained

Directions:

Mix all ingredients except peppers, pineapple, and sausage in a large skillet. Cook over low heat until thick. Add bell peppers and continue to cook on low. Add pineapple chunks and sausage, and heat thoroughly. Serve hot in a chafing dish with party picks.
