Santa Claus Whiskers

Ingredients

1 cup margarine, softened
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon almond flavoring
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup chopped red and green candied cherries
1/2 cup chopped pecans
3/4 cup shredded coconut

Directions:

Cream margarine and sugar, then blend in milk and almond flavoring. Stir in flour, cherries, and nuts. Dough will be stiff. Divide into 2 parts and form into 2 logs about the size of slice-and-bake cookies. Roll dough in coconut, then cover logs with plastic wrap; chill overnight. Logs may be frozen for one month until ready to bake. Slice and bake at 375° for 12 minutes or until edges are brown.
