Preheat oven to 350°. Cream butter and cake mix by hand. Press mixture into 9x13-inch pan. Sprinkle with pecans. Mix remaining ingredients with electric mixer until smooth. Pour this mixture over cake mixture. Bake for 40 minutes or until top is golden brown. Let cool and cut into squares. Best if made a day ahead, and can be frozen.
