Great-Grandma's Pound Cake

Ingredients

2 cups butter, softened
1 (16-ounce) package powdered sugar
6 eggs
1 tablespoon almond extract
3 cups all-purpose flour

Directions:

Beat butter until light and fluffy; add powdered sugar, mixing well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add extract and flour; mix just enough to blend. Pour into a greased and floured 10" tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour and 15 minutes, or until cake tests done.
