Chicken Cashew Casserole

Ingredients

2 (10 3/4-ounce) cans cream of mushroom soup
2/3 cup water
2 cups cooked chicken, diced
1 cup celery
1/2 cup onion, grated
1 (6-ounce) container cashews
1 (6-ounce) can sliced water chestnuts, drained and coarsely chopped
1 (4-ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
2 (5-ounce) cans chow mein noodles

Directions:

Combine all ingredients except one can noodles. Spread in a lightly greased 13"x9" baking pan. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining noodles; bake for an additional 10 minutes.

Tip: For a crispy, crunchy casserole topping, leave the casserole dish uncovered while it's baking. Cover it only if you prefer a softer consistency.
