Ingredients

1 1/2 quarts French vanilla ice cream, softened
1 1/2 cups mincemeat pie filling,
1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts or pecans, divided
1 (9-inch) graham cracker pie crust
Optional: sweetened whipped cream

Directions:

In a large bowl, combine ice cream, mincemeat and 1/2 cup chopped nuts; mix well. Spread in graham cracker crust; freeze until firm, 2 to 3 hours. Before serving, spoon whipped cream over pie, if desired. Garnish with remaining nuts.

To make fragrant, no-bake cinnamon-applesauce ornaments blend together one cup cinnamon, 3/4 cup applesauce and 1/4 cup white glue. Roll out the dough and cut with cookie cutters...remember to use a drinking straw to make a small hole at the top of the ornaments if you’d like to hang them.
