Chop Suey Casserole

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef
2 onions, chopped
1 cup celery, chopped
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 (10 3/4-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1 (10 3/4-ounce) can cream of chicken soup
1 1/2 cups warm water
1/2 cup long-cooking rice, uncooked
1 (3-ounce) can chow mein noodles

Directions:

Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat; drain. Stir in onions, celery, soy sauce, soups, water and rice. Transfer to a lightly greased 13"x9" baking pan. Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Sprinkle chow mein noodles over top. Return to oven, uncovered, for 15 minutes.


Stuff stockings with gift cards, woolly socks, cocoa packets, teabags, soup mixes, CD’s or DVD’s...then just listen for the squeals of delight Christmas morning!
