Sugar-free Cranberry Sauce


Serves: 16

Ingredients

1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon artificial sweetener like Equal or Splenda

Directions:

In an 8-inch Dutch oven, combine berries, and remaining ingredients but the sweetener. Heat over medium high heat until the mixture starts to simmer, about 8 coals underneath. Cover and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until berries are tender and have popped. Remove from heat and let cool to "room temperature" then stir in sweetener. Chill and refrigerate until ready to serve.
