Rich Egg Sauce

Ingredients

8 egg yolk
1 cup sugar
2 cups hot milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Directions:

Beat egg yolks until pale yellow. Slowly add sugar and 2 cups hot milk.

Cook in a double boiler until thick. Add 1 tablespoon vanilla.
