Peanut Pie Dessert

Ingredients

1/2 pound butter
3/4 cup sugar
4 beaten egg yolk
1/3 pound finely ground peanut that have been roasted in the oven before grinding
1 1/2 pints whipping cream
2/3 pound vanilla wafer

Directions:

Beat butter and sugar until very light. Slowly add egg yolks. Fold in ground peanuts and mix.

Whip whipping cream. Fold the peanut mixture into the whipping cream.

Butter a baking dish and layer with 2/3 pounds crushed vanilla wafers. The cream sauce should be on the top and bottom.

Refrigerate for 4 hours.
