Oriental Rice (Indonesia)

Ingredients

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 cups cooked rice, chilled
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup water chestnut
1/4 cup soy sauce

Directions:

Heat oil in a wok or skillet; add rice, stirring and tossing until grains are coated with oil. Add raisins and water chestnuts; stir until mixture is heated through. Add soy sauce and blend.

Variation: Cooked, diced beef or chicken may be added.
