Creole Cheese Sticks

Serves: 5
Total Calories: 306


2 tablespoons unsalted margarine
3/4 cup water
1 packet Butter Buds
1 teaspoon Tony's Creole seasoning (or 1/4 teaspoon each: thyme, celery seed, marjoram, and white pepper, if Tony's not available)
1 loaf Pepperidge Farm wheat bread, sliced extra thin
1 small can Parmesan cheese


In boiler, melt margarine with water, Butter Buds, and seasoning. Keep warm 5 minutes before brushing each slice of bread, both sides, with mixture. Slice each slice into 3 fingers.

In a flat pan, put Parmesan cheese. Press to coat each bread finger on both sides. Bake in preheated 350° oven only until lightly brown and crunchy.
