Fun Lady’s Tomato Pie

Ingredients

Crust:
1 (9- or 10-inch) deep dish pie crust

Filling:
3 cups (10 ounces) shredded mozzarella cheese
1 pound cooked, crumbled bacon
1 1/2 cups chopped green peppers
2 sliced avocados
2 large or 4 medium sliced, seeded tomatoes
oregano
basil
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/8 teaspoon bottled hot pepper sauce
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Directions:

Crust:
Bake in preheated 350° oven for 10 minutes. Cool completely.

Filling:
In pre-baked, cooled crust, layer in order: one cup mozzarella cheese and half each of the bacon, green pepper, avocados, and tomatoes. Sprinkle with oregano and basil. Repeat. Put the third cup of mozzarella cheese over the second layer.

Mix the mayonnaise, Parmesan, hot pepper sauce, and Worcestershire, and spread it over the top. Sprinkle with chopped parsley. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until golden. Let stand 10–15 minutes. Serve warm or cool. Store in refrigerator.
