Divine Seafood Chowder

Ingredients

1 onion, sliced
4 potatoes, peeled and sliced
1 garlic to taste, minced
1 teaspoon dill weed
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup clam juice, heated to boiling
1 (15-ounce) can creamed corn
1 salt and pepper to taste
1/2 pound haddock or cod fillet
1/2 pound uncooked medium shrimp, peeled and halved
1 cup light cream, warmed

Directions:

Layer all ingredients except cream in a slow cooker, placing fish and shrimp on top. Cover and cook on high setting for one hour; reduce setting to low and cook for 3 hours. Just before serving, gently stir in cream.
