And now...we've made that experience a whole lot more fun!

The Cook’n Elves just released some major enhancements to the social sharing features in Cook’n for iOS...with Android, Desktop, and Web coming soon!

Rather than try to explain everything, let me SHOW you! I made a quick demo video so you can see the new features in action:

❤️ Give the Cook Some Love!

There's a bigger reason why I'm so excited about these new features.

Cooking can sometimes be a pretty thankless job.

Think about it.

You decide what to make. You buy the groceries. You chop. You mix. You cook. You bake. You set the table.

Then everybody shows up...

EATS IT...

...and five minutes later, all the evidence of your masterpiece is GONE! 😂

Maybe somebody says, “That was good!”

Maybe.

😂

But that's one of the reasons I love the “I Made This” feature in Cook’n.

Before everybody devours your creation, snap a picture and tap I Made This.

Now your accomplishment lives on!

Your recipe can appear in Recently Made Recipes where other Cook’n users can discover it.

They can see it.

They can Like it.

And now...they can Comment on it!

Someone you've never met might tell you:

Or...

They might ask you a question about how you prepared it.

They might share an idea for a variation.

And you can respond!

That's what makes these new features so exciting to me.

We're not just building a place to store recipes.

We're building a community of people who are actually COOKING them!

Making Mealtime More Rewarding

This has actually been part of our vision for Cook’n for quite a while.

We want meal preparation to be more than another chore on the list.

We want it to be an experience.

You made something.

You shared it.

Somebody saw it.

Somebody Liked it.

Somebody Commented on it.

Maybe your recipe inspired somebody 1,000 miles away to make the same thing for THEIR family tomorrow night.

How cool is that?!

And it works both ways.

When you're scrolling through Recently Made Recipes and see something that makes your mouth water, don't just scroll past it!

Tap that and give the cook a Like!

Leave a Comment.

Tell them, “That looks AMAZING!”

Because behind every one of those pictures is a real person who spent some time in the kitchen making something.

Tap the photo on a Recently Made Recipe to see a beautiful, larger version. Warning: This may cause excessive hunger. 😂

See WHO Liked Your Recipe
You could already see how many Likes you received. Now you can tap the Likes icon and see who gave them to you!

My wife Kathy was particularly interested in this enhancement. Apparently she needs to know which of our kids are Liking her recipes...so she knows who gets dinner. 😂

👀 See Your Views
Even when people are stingy with their Likes, you can see how many people have looked at your creation!

💬 NEW Recipe Comments!
This is the BIG one. You can now read and add Comments to Recently Made Recipes. Ask questions, compliment the cook, share ideas, or let someone know you're planning to make their recipe.

And people are already doing it!
