“My Recipe Has Two Pages… Now What?”
Over the past couple of weeks, we have received a lot of messages at support@dvo.com with the same question. That usually tells me it is worth answering in the newsletter so everyone can benefit.
Here is one of the notes (thanks, Robert Gusek):
“in snip-it how do you install a recipe that is 2 pages i can only get one page and then you must save it”
If you are using Snip-It and your recipe spans more than one page, you can absolutely bring it all into one recipe. The trick is to import each image first, then run Magic Scan.
✅ How to Import a Multi-Page Recipe into Snip-It
- Launch Cook’n and click the Snip-It button on the toolbar.
- Click Import Scanned Recipe and select your first image file.
- Click Import Scanned Recipe again and select your second image file.
- Repeat the same step for any additional images (third page, fourth page, etc.).
- When all images are loaded, click Magic Scan.
Snip-It will combine the images, and Magic Scan will convert the whole thing into one clean, editable Cook’n recipe.
This works great for recipes that span multiple cookbook pages, newspaper clippings with two columns, and long screenshots from websites.
If you ever hit a snag, just email us at support@dvo.com. We are happy to help.
