Breakfast Quinoa

Serves: 4
Total Calories: 22


1 cup water
1/3 cup instant Quinoa
1 teaspoon powdered milk
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
1/2 cup craisins
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg


At Home:
1. Combine all ingredients in a freezer bag for transport to camp.

At Camp:
1. Bring water to boil.

2. Add ingredients and continue to simmer for 90 seconds.

3. Serve and enjoy!

Feeds four hungry hikers.

Fun Fact: Fall line is the most direct line to the bottom of a hill.
