4 teaspoons all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon sugar
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup fresh parsley, minced
1 teaspoon celery seed

Place warm potato slices in a large bowl; set aside. Cook bacon until crisp in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook for one minute; stir in flour, sugar, salt and pepper. Mix together vinegar and water; pour over mixture in skillet. Stir until thickened; pour over potatoes and toss gently. Stir in parsley and celery seed. Serve warm.

Tip: A splash of ginger ale in orange juice makes a refreshing beverage to accompany a cookout meal. Serve in tall glasses with lots of ice…aah!
