Creamed Potatoes and Peas

Serves: 4

5 to 8 medium sized red potatoes
1 recipe White Sauce, medium
1 to 2 cup frozen green peas
1 to 2 cup cubed ham or 1 chicken breast, cooked and cubed


Wash potatoes. Cut into 1-inch pieces.

Cover potatoes with water in a saucepan. Bring water to a boil. Boil for 8 minutes. Add frozen peas. Return to boil, and continue boiling for another 8 minutes. Remove from heat. Drain water. Add meat, if desired.

Prepare white sauce. Pour the white sauce over the potatoes and peas and stir gently until well coated.
