Red Pepper Crab Spread

1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
1 medium orange or red bell pepper, chopped
1 cup finely chopped onion
1 (6-ounce) can crabmeat, drained
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided


Mix all but 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese. Spread into 9-inch pie plate. Bake at 375° for 20 minutes till top is lightly browned. Sprinkle with reserved 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired. Serve warm with assorted crackers.
