Stewed Fresh Plums

Serves: 4
Total Calories: 23


1 pound plum
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons sugar


Wash plums and pit, if desired. Place them in medium saucepan along with water. Bring to boil, turn to low, cover and cook plums until tender, about 10 minutes, adding more water if needed. Add sugar to taste and serve, hot or cold, with juices poured over. Good served over ice cream.
