Shrimp Butter

1 (3-ounce) package cream cheese softened
6 tablespoons butter softened
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon onion minced
1 (4 1/2-ounce) can tiny cocktail shrimp rinsed and well drained (reserve several for garnish)


In a small mixer bowl at medium speed, beat cream cheese and butter until fluffy. Add mayonnaise, lemon juice and onion beat until well blended. Add shrimp and beat at low speed just until mixed. Spoon into serving dish. Garnish with reserved shrimp. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours or until firm.

*Crabmeat may be substituted.
