Pre-Cooking Rice

Serves: 0



Prepare rice of your choice and cool. Place in a plastic bag or container. Seal tightly to prevent drying out. Refrigerate up to 4 days or freeze up to 6 months. To reheat, place rice in a heavy pan (if frozen, thaw in the refrigerator first). Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of water per 1 cup of rice. Cover tightly and place over low heat for 5 to 8 minutes or until hot and fluffy.
