Patio Buffet Salad

1 head lettuce Bibb or Boston
1 1/2 cups chicken breasts cooked cut in strips
4 slices Swiss cheese cut in strips
4 slices salami cotto salami
1 avocado sliced*
Pitted ripe olives
Cherry tomatoes, halved
tortilla chip
Cumin Dressing (see next column)


Line a large platter with lettuce leaves. Finely chop a few inner leaves and place on platter. Arrange chicken, cheese, salami or ham, avocado, olives and cherry tomatoes on lettuce. Garnish with a few tortilla chips.

Serve dressing separately and pass additional tortilla chips.

* If not serving salad immediately, brush avocado with lemon juice.
