Chocolate Satin Fondant Icing

In a 2-quart saucepan, prepare half a recipe of Satin Fondant Icing using the following ingredients: 7 tablespoons warm water, 1 1/2 tablespoons light corn syrup, 1 pound powdered sugar, sifted, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. Stir in 1 1/2 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled, with the vanilla.
