Banana-Kale Smoothie

Serves: 5

1 cup unsweetened pineapple juice
1 ripe banana
1 kale leaf, stemmed
1/2 cup cubed celery
1/2 cup ice (optional)
1/4 cup old fashioned or quick cooking rolled oats
6 or 7 pecans toasted


Put all the ingredients in a blender and process on high speed until smooth. Pour into a tall glass. Serve immediately.

Note: For a thicker smoothie, add more pecans.
