Super Easy Clam Chowder
Recipe from the January 2012 Newsletter
- 2 cups potatoes peeled and chopped
- 2 cups water
- 2 tablespoons onions minced
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 (7 1/2-ounce) can clams
- 1 quart half and half
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 5 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
- 1 tablespoon butter
Cook potatoes in water until tender. Add onion, pepper, salt, and clams. In a medium bowl, combine the half and half and flour. Add to soup. Cook and stir until thickened. Add bacon. Top with butter. Can add shredded cheese on top if desired.January 2012 Newsletter

"I might learn how to cook yet with all this software of yours. You can't believe how much it has helped. I've had friends come over (I'm just a single guy with a dog - but looking for the right woman) and rave about the meals I prepared for them. It's not all that hard if you just follow the directions.
