Recipe from the April 2011 Newsletter
- 1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
- 2 (3.4 ounce) package instant pistachio pudding mix
- 1 cup sour cream
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup water
- 3/4 cup pistachio pieces
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a medium bowl, combine cake and pudding mixes. Add sour cream, eggs, oil, and water; beat until well blended. Pour into greased loaf pans.
Combine the pistachio, brown sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over batter.
Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool for 10 minutes before removing loaves to a wire rack to cool completely.April 2010 Newsletter
