Upside-Down Apple Pecan Pie

Ingredients

1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/3 melted butter or margarine
1
6 cups apples, peeled and sliced
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg

Directions:

In 9-inch pie pan combine pecans, brown sugar, and butter spread evenly over bottom of pan. Prepare pie crust and place bottom crust over mixture. In large bowl, combine apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg spoon into crust. Top with top crust flute edges. Cut slits in top crust. Bake at 375°F for 40 to 50 minutes. Cool and invert on serving plate.
